On 0ne of my "free days" in Maui I took myself on an adventure to Hana. Round-trip it was about 8 hours. Four of them driving crazy rugged switch-back jungle roads - many of them one-lane dirt cliff roads. The other four hours spent on an incredible four-mile hike (2 miles straight up and 2 miles straight down) and then a lot of sitting at the 2-mile mark, the largest waterfall I may ever see. (The photos don't do it justice.)
Take a look! Here's what you want to know: Near the top of the hike, I got to walk this intensely beautiful, massive bamboo forest (right after the bridge) and at the end of it, the waterfall.
Doing it alone was one of the best experiences of my life - and if you are reading this post, know I carried you with me in spirit.

Beautiful!! It looks like my idea of a wonderful "chapel". Glad you enjoyed spending some spiritual time in Maui. The mountain trek sounds soul deepening. Happy to be with you anytime in spirit and in person! Love the pics. Love you.
